FAQs

We encourage Gym owners to preview each of the athlete training videos so they can answer questions that parents might have.  Gym owners will work with coaches to decide the best times they can show the training videos to teams or groups.

In order to comply with the SafeSport Act, continuing education programs for coaches/owners on the topic of sexual abuse is required in order to receive USASF credentialling.  For athletes, there is currently no requirement but highly recommended.

Your membership status with USASF will not be terminated, but you would not be eligible for USASF credentials nor would you be classified as a Safe at All Star certified club.

There is no Safe at All Star requirement to obtain permission from parents before you view the athlete videos as a group.  However, if you feel it would be an expectation from your gym families then any permission slips you distribute would be for your own records.

Parents may view the same video trainings by setting up a Safe at All Star account.  They may opt to view the athlete training videos in a more private setting to facilitate discussions about safety.

We encourage coaches to preview the athlete videos as well prior to group trainings.  The videos are designed to exclude potentially explicit concepts or terms while still directing athletes on the proper responses if they are every in a situation.   The videos are also self-guided, however, feel free to reach out to one of our Client Success Managers for additional support or email support@safeatallstar.com

Program admins or program users can login to their USASF program profile and pull a report under the report tab. The report they can pull to see what athletes and parents have completed the training will be under the Program Eligible Athletes. Select your location and generate the report.

Yes, as long as the athletes within your group viewing are all watching the videos designed for their age bracket.  You will still need to provide Safe at All Star with the documentation of athletes trained per team. This is the Group Athlete Training form that is located under the Group Training section on our website.

At Safe at All Star , we our mission is to keep ALL athletes safe.  We encourage owners to share our trainings with their non All Star teams as we know both the athletes and you will benefit.  Additionally, look for additional training videos to be available in the future for athletes over 18 and special needs athletes.

We encourage you to show the trainings to all athletes, parents and coaches.

Our mission is to get athletes trained as soon as possible.  Our trainings give athletes skills that apply to all settings, not just within the cheer community.  Our trainings do not have an expiration date and can be shown or reshown throughout the season.
